What are the benefits of coaching?
Have you ever wanted someone to just listen and focus on you? We very rarely have the luxury of time invested into us, to be really heard and understood. One of the major benefits of coaching is that you get someone’s attention on you, for 45 minutes at a time, focused on you and how amazing you are. The coaching relationship is there for you as the client, it is not for the coach to show off their experience, or give you solutions to fix you. It is however there to enable you to reach the goals you want to and to keep you accountable to your big agenda – becoming more of the person you want to be. Another benefit to coaching is the time to think and feel more deeply about your life. To really experience the full range of emotions that make us human. It allows you to experience those feelings and move through them to learn from them. Coaching is continual learning about yourself and your world. There are many benefits to coaching, and many are personal and different to individuals - there are no formulas. Deepening your learning will mean you are aware of yourself more and in turn how you react to others and how you can change that reaction, if you want. Forwarding the action means you can move forward in the things you want to in your life, become the change you want to see, as Ghandi once told us. There is strong accountability in coaching, but also there is strong reliance on the client’s own determination to move forward. It is your life and as your coach we will keep you on track to achieve the things you want to, and also make sure they are the things you REALLY want for your life.
