About Nicola Marshall

Nicola has worked in the area of people development for over eighteen years within a number of different business sectors. Five years was spent in the charitable sector both overseas and in the United Kingdom, five years within the healthcare sector and most recently eight years in the private sector. Throughout her career, Nicola has shown those who work with her that her overriding passion is to facilitate development and growth in those around her.

Nicola has mentored and led people all throughout her life. Over the last few years this passion and strength has taken the form of coaching. Nicola believes that people have a right to choose their own future and enables others to excel in all areas of life.

Nicola set up Ripples Coaching in 2008 to provide coaching services through her network of contacts while completing her coaching accreditation with CTI.

Nicola passionately believes in the power of coaching, the impact it has on people’s lives and the change it can make to the world. Ripples Coaching is dedicated to seeing people live as they truly want to and make a difference in their world.

Along with her husband Nicola adopted three beautiful children in May 2008.  This has inspired her to coach others going through the adoption process.  Her desire to see more people adopt, those people to experience a smooth process and the placement to be a success for all drives her to dedicate part of her time to this cause.

The style of coaching that Nicola majors in is co-active coaching. Co-activity believes that we as people are magnificent: we have the answers within ourselves, or the ability to find the answers. A co-active coach works with a client to release that potential, always holding the clients agenda – not her own. Co-activity will help someone reach the goals they have in their life. There will be challenge, insight, accountability and fun!
